Duties
- Assist technical personnel in budgetary review and administrative control of funding and programming
- Assemble the budget information and data in a format suitable for use by operating officials in performing continuing budgetary review and controlling expenditures of funds.
- Prepare studies that serve as basis for command decisions as to the most efficient and effective methods for financing or funding activities, operations, programs, and support requirements.
- Work with program directors and supported activities to determine resource system effectiveness.
- Maintain contact and works with counterparts at other MACOMs, HQDA, DFAS operating locations and centers, and supported command in connection with budget data reporting and reconciliation.
- Evaluate programs and funds received from the supported command and HQDA to determine the need for adjustment or reprogramming or the submission of requests for additional funds.
- Utilize, interpret, analyze, and reconcile Standard Finance System (STANFINS) and other financial management system reports

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience would be demonstrated by assisting in the preparation of briefings for presentations; aiding in the reviewing or evaluating of funding requirements; assisting in the research and preparation of a variety of financial reports.
