WATER PLANT OPERATOR: The Water Plant Operator will help the City of Pasco continue to provide high quality water services to the citizens of Pasco. In service of providing high quality water to our citizens, the Water Plant Operator will perform a variety of technical tasks to effectively operate, maintain and control various components of the City’s Water Treatment Plants. Facilities include a conventional filtration plant, a membrane filtration plant, raw water intake pump stations, booster pump stations, distribution system control valves, storage tanks, reservoirs and standpipes. Works under Washington State regulations and procedures for water treatment and water supply; as well as established City policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Two (2) years of experience working as a Washington State Class III (or equivalent), SCADA controlled water treatment plant performing routine operations and maintenance.
- Class III Washington State Water Treatment Plant Operator Certificate (WA Class IV preferred).

WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR: The Wastewater Plant Operator performs a variety of technically skilled tasks to effectively operate, maintain, and control various components of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Treatment Plant is an extended aeration- return activated sludge plant that includes anaerobic digestion, screening, clarification, solids thickening, and UV disinfection. Work under Washington State regulations and procedures for wastewater treatment, as well as City policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Washington State Class III (or equivalent), SCADA controlled wastewater treatment plant performing routine operations and maintenance.
- One (1) year of responsible laboratory experience.

SALARY RANGE: $32.46 - $36.55/per hour., plus benefits
