In this dynamic role, you'll serve as a trusted business partner, deliver expert HR consultation, and lead our full Talent Acquisition lifecycle.

This recruitment will create an eligibility list which may be used to fill future Career Service, Term Limited Temporary or Special Duty Assignment HR Analyst vacancies within the next 12 months.

- Provide guidance to employees, managers, and supervisors on employment law and human resource practices.
- Support complex work and Human Resource programs.
- Support County-wide initiatives, including equity and social justice, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and employee development.
- Recommend improvements to Human Resource practices and processes.
- Lead fair, objective, and compliant recruitment and selection processes.
- Use tools like Word, Excel, SharePoint, and applicant tracking and background-check systems to manage documentation, maintain tracking systems, and support recruitment workflows.
- Perform other duties as assigned and within the scope of responsibility.
- Three (3) or more years of increasingly responsible administrative experience
- Ability to manage multiple high-volume processes effectively and efficiently
- Demonstrated skill at working collaboratively, creating relationships, building trust and rapport with a diverse group of people
- Skill in effective time-management, planning, prioritizing and coordinating multiple projects with critical timelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, or a comparable email platform
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the public sector
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Prior experience using PeopleSoft or other HRIS system
- Prior experience with NEOGOV or other electronic applicant tracking system

WORK LOCATION/SCHEDULE: The DAJD Administrative Services team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is the King County Courthouse at 516 3rd Avenue, E 245, Seattle, WA 98104, though travel to other DAJD facilities within King County may also be necessary.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
King County has a robust collection of tools and resourcesto support working remotely. The individual selected for this opportunity will join an innovative and progressive team that is redefining how we work as we transition to the department's hybrid environment. Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
This position will work a 40-hour work week and is overtime eligible (provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act). The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by Teamsters Local 117, Professional, Technical and Administration (P/T/A) bargaining unit.
