This position performs customer service duties. An incumbent in this position may be designated as Customer Service Representative I.
This is a Full-Time position working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Salary depends on qualifications - Greets customers and insures their comfort as they come into the F.B.O.
- Assists in taking care of customer and pilot needs.
- Accepts customer requests for service.
- Answers customer telephone calls; answers customer questions or refers to appropriate personnel.
- Processes all payments received.
- Updates and maintains files.
- Processes fuel and FBO service invoices and customer receipts.
- Operates and maintains cash drawer; balances receipts daily.
- Provides additional assistance to customers as needed, such as catering, hotel reservations, ground transportation, etc.
- Able to work on a computer-based system.
- Has a good understanding of customer service in an airport environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of modern office principles and practices.
- Knowledge of department and city policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of billing and collection procedures.
- Skill in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment.
- Skill in planning, organization, and decision making.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. The employee occasionally lifts light or heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is typically performed in an office.
