What You’ll Do
You will perform difficult technical and project management work related to the development and support of the Town of Morrisville’s innovation program. Work is performed under the general supervision of the IT Innovation Manager and requires your independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties.
Some specific examples include (this is not an exhaustive list and is only for illustration purposes
- Provides support and maintenance for innovation program initiatives;
- Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of pilot projects and innovation program initiatives;
- Builds, designs, implements and manages innovation program initiatives;
- Works with Innovation Manager to evaluate emerging technologies;
- Maintains innovation program inventory;
- Works independently as project manager of IT initiatives;
- Designs, develops, and implements AI and automation solutions utilizing Microsoft platform solutions such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and other related tools;
- Generates reports and dashboards as needed to communicate project status and outcomes;
- Develops project documentation, timelines, and performance metrics;
- Provides training for stakeholders on innovation program initiatives;
- Coordinates with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful implementation of innovation program initiatives;
- Conducts feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new technologies and process improvements;
- Performs related tasks as required.

The Must Haves (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in computer science or a related technical field
- At least one year of experience evaluating and deploying emerging technologies
- At least one year of experience managing complex IT project implementations
- At least five years of experience of IT experience in some capacity
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
- 2-4 years of experience evaluating and deploying emerging technologies
- Any experience with the following Microsoft products (Power Platform, Foundry, Fabric, Copilot Studio)
