Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Chief at Wayne Township Fire Department Indianapolis. The Fire Chief will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fire prevention, emergency services management, fire investigation, and emergency response operations in coordination with the department's teams and staff. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to ensure effective and efficient emergency response services.

- Emergency Services and Emergency Management skills
- Fire Investigation knowledge
- Experience in leading and managing emergency response teams
- Strong decision-making and crisis management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification or training in Firefighting and Emergency Response
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Emergency Management, or related field
- Leadership and management experience in a career fire department
- Thorough understanding of financial management and budgeting
