About The Position

The Recreation Assistant - Guest Services role at the EXPO Center involves serving as the front line staff, providing customer service and support to patrons utilizing the facility. This position includes responsibilities at the front desk and during special events, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth operations.

Responsibilities * Answer a multi-line phone system and greet patrons in person and over the phone. , * Direct patrons to their designated areas in the facility. , * Receive program registration and payments. , * Promote program classes and special events. , * Take memberships and conduct customer service, including responding to complaints and service issues. , * File documents and distribute mail. , * Operate basic office equipment, including phone, copy, and fax machine. , * Have a working knowledge of the Online Activity Catalog. , * Provide set-up and breakdown for special events. , * Remove trash and monitor events to ensure patrons follow City policies and procedures.

Requirements * Must have a background or experience in customer service.
