PAY AND BENEFITS
Annual Pay Range: $80,518.41 - $108,700.30
Hourly Pay Range: $38.710776 - $52.259759
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.

JOB DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Clackamas County's Social Services Division is seeking a Transit Services Supervisor to plan, organize, and supervise transportation programs directly operated by social services, including Transportation Reaching People (TRP) and Last Mile Shuttles. This position will focus on the operations of contracted services, services provided by county staff and volunteers, and providing support and coordination with local and regional partners to address transit needs across the county. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery. This role will also involve supervising the TRP team, providing leadership and support to staff, coordinating service improvements, and fostering partnerships with community stakeholders to expand transportation options for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*
• A minimum of six (6) years of related experience that would provide the required knowledge and skills to perform the responsibilities of this position
• Experience working in a lead, supervisory, or managerial role
• Experience with transit operations including funding management, vehicle maintenance, and route and schedule planning
• Experience with contract procurement and management
• Experience establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with service providers, agencies, law enforcement and other social services professionals
Preferred Special Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*
• Experience with transit-related vehicle procurement, including familiarity with ODOT (Oregon Department of Transportation) and FTA (Federal Transit Administration) requirements
• Experience with public outreach and marketing for transit programs
• Experience with grant reporting and grant applications
• Experience working with seniors and/or individuals who are experiencing a disability

TYPICAL TASKS
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
• Provides leadership and support to TRP staff, coordinating service improvements and fostering partnerships with community stakeholders to expand transportation options for older adults and individuals who are experiencing disabilities.
• Plans, assigns, and schedules the work of TRP staff. Oversees daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, manages spending, and develops strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery. Provides orientation, training, and technical support as needed.
• Administers TRP program budget, analyzes and makes recommendations on budget requests, monitors and controls expenditures for compliance with terms of agreement, and serves as liaison with service providers.
• Hires and supervises TRP staff, prepares performance evaluations, recommends and administers progressive discipline, and promotes a cooperative and motivated team environment while supporting professional development for TRP team members.
• Oversees the development of public outreach plans, all outreach and promotional efforts and surveys, and analyzes dates for future service recommendations.
• Coordinates, prepares, and submits grant applications, ensures compliance with grant reporting requirements, and serves as liaison with granting agencies.
• Provides oversight of public transit program operated by the county or contracted out by the county, including policy and procedure to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements for transit programs, responds to customer service issues, manages implemented technology, and follows up with service providers as needed.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is included in the County's alternate workweek program, working 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Thursday (Fridays off):
• Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended.

The exact amount of on-site/telework and schedule will be discussed with the hiring manager during time of offer. Telework locations cannot be located outside of Oregon or Washington.
