We provide high-quality billing, marketing, and administrative services to independent mental health care providers across the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities:
- Maintain fixed assets listing and related journal entries
- Prepare and analyze CIP/WIP and depreciation journal entries across multiple entities
- Prepare annual personal property reporting
- Prepare monthly excise tax returns for multiple entities
- Review and submit annual 1099 reporting for multiple entities
- Prepare and process unclaimed property communications and annual filing
- Review and approve GL coding for AP workflow
- Support the corporate card program including review and reclassification of GL coding
- Review provider and client check deposits
- Prepare payroll and benefit journal entries.
- Reconcile health benefit plans
- Manage the client refunds are processed and paid in accordance with contractual obligations
- Meet assigned deadlines to ensure a timely month-end close process.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Reconcile bank accounts as assigned.
- Research and recommend solutions for financial discrepancies.
- Demonstrate strong business relationships through positive interactions with both internal and external contacts and personnel
- Communicate with Manager on work status and issues that arise.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Demonstrate continuous improvement in job knowledge.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study
- 2-3 years of relatable experience
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands on experience with accounting software, Sage Intaact preferred
- Thorough knowledge of MS office tools, with an emphasis on excel
