You may be responsible for monitoring special events, collaborating with law enforcement during nighttime investigations, engaging with high-profile individuals, and preparing detailed case materials for potential prosecution.

The City’s Code Enforcement team operates seven days a week and provides service to the community from 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. This position will regularly require working late-night and early-morning hours, with shifts that extend until 4 a.m. The schedule also requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and major City events such as WeHo Pride or West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. Please note: a 10% increase in hourly pay is assigned to all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and holiday pay is paid at one-and-one-half (1 ½) times the hourly rate of pay.
