This position is a part-time role. Schedule will be no more than 29 hours/week.• Develops, coordinates and administers a citywide program, providing strategic planning and goal setting.
• Monitors, maintains, and administers assigned budget for program; may research funding sources and/or apply for grants, including determining needs and writing proposals.
• Evaluates program performance against established goals and City initiatives; analyzes effectiveness of assigned program.
• Serves on and leads City committees, boards, task forces.
• May lead internal teams related to assigned program and may lead and organize the work of others.
• Participates in local or regional or state groups or organizations; serves as City’s representative to such groups.
• May report on or present about program to City leadership team and City Council, other agencies, community members, and/or business groups.
• Oversees community involvement and outreach if required of the assigned program.
• Researches, analyzes, and prepares various reports, plans or other materials related to assigned program.Education and Experience:

Five years of increasingly responsible experience in related field,
Bachelor’s degree in program related field,
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Public sector experience preferred

Licenses and Certificates:

Valid Washington State driver’s license may be required
