Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in inventory control, supply and distribution of goods are required. Must possess a driver's License. Must have and maintain a good driving record. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

EMS Support Clerk
This position will reside in the Logistics Division of Miami-Dade's Fire Rescue Department and will be required to work a 40-hour work week - shift schedule. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and technical duties, in support of Emergency Medical Services' (EMS) operations to include conducting inventories at various locations, placing orders to resupply stock and equipment items, maintaining capital equipment records, transporting equipment and supplies to and from various locations, and operating and maintaining support vehicles. Tasks assigned to this position entail completing daily activity logs; providing logistical support to EMS operations during major emergencies, disasters, and special events; operating vehicular equipment to recover EMS equipment from area hospitals; and re-supplying and maintaining inventory control of oxygen depots.
