- Skillful in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers in a multi-functional environment.
- Tracks and coordinates payment of department utility bills and a range of vendor invoices, ensures proper account coding, submittal, and follow up for receipt of invoices and bills.
- Operates a PC to view, enter, edit, format, revise, print, process, and distribute information.
- Enters, maintains, coordinates, documents, and tracks pertinent information to meet information and reporting needs of the department following detailed processes with accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to act as a problem identification and resolution resource, answer questions, provide assistance, and follow up in resolving problems or requests.
- Creates, edits, revises and distributes materials for all levels of the organization.
- Plans and coordinates meetings and other group events.

- Delivers on-the-job training to department staff.
- Assist with performing related general office tasks.
- Operate city vehicle to attend meetings, make deliveries and provide additional administrative support at various Parks sites and community Center.

- Works under general supervision of Program Administrator and guidance of Administrative Lead.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
- Ability to learn and apply City of Bellevue policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates acceptable proficiency in application software: Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Asset Management Software as required by specific job duties. This includes Maximo and JDE.
- Knowledge of general office practices, accounting practices for government agencies, business English and grammar, and ability to research information relevant to department.
- Experience supporting emergency management projects, including coordinating resources, managing communications, and maintaining documentation.
- Understands and applies oral and written instructions to produce a desired result.
- Communicates effectively (both orally and in writing).
- Skill in working with diverse groups of people in a tactful, effective, and respectful manner.
- Demonstrates advanced keyboarding proficiency as required by specific job duties.
- Skillful in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse workforce.
- Skill in interfacing effectively in a complex and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks and non-routine matters.
- Ability to communicate with the public.
- Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
- Current, valid driver's license is required and ability to operate a city vehicle.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and one year of progressively responsible related work experience.
- Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
