Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Four (4) years of equipment operation and related construction or maintenance experience.
- For the Green Infrastructure Section position: Two (2) years of landscape maintenance experience or Preferred Qualifications may substitute for two (2) years of equipment operation/construction maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in green infrastructure maintenance of stormwater quality and detention facilities highly desirable.
- One year of experience in plant selection and care for green stormwater infrastructure highly desirable.
Available Schedule:
- 4-10, Monday - Thursday (four 10-hour days with three days off each week)

The anticipated hiring range for the Public Works Senior Technician position is $28.95 (first step) to $30.40 or $31.92 (second or third step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
