The Mayor and City Council for the City of Seagoville, Texas are accepting applications for Seagoville’s next City Manager.
Conveniently located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Seagoville provides its residents an alluring combination of small-town charm with nearby, big-city amenities. Incorporated in 1926, Seagoville is approaching its centennial with a growing population of over 20,000 residents in 21 square miles. Steady growth and a strong sense of community have created a unique atmosphere of civic pride and neighborhood excellence.
The City is seeking an approachable, relatable, and collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ethics and integrity. The ideal candidate must be customer service driven with experience in overall city operations with strong knowledge of municipal finance and economic development.
A bachelor degree in public administration or related field and seven years of management experience in local government or equivalent experience is required. Salary will be commensurate based on education and experience with a minimum of $170,000.
