The City of Chandler Neighborhood Preservation Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a
Code Enforcement Officer Senior ( Part-Time, Temporary, Non-Benefited ). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work 19 hours a week, Monday - Friday.

Who We Are Looking For
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone who will perform residential code compliance activities related to the City's zoning, sign maintenance and nuisance codes and ordinances, including code interpretation, site visits and investigations.

Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in code enforcement
- 1 year of code enforcement-experience specifically relating to investigating nuisance, zoning and sign codes or technical inspections related to construction, landscaping or other related field
- 2 years of experience involving work in meeting and communicating with the public
- A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired Qualifications
- Front line or direct customer service experience
- Experience with case management software
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
